How To Make Your Soap Smell Last Longer
- #ii
Some soap fragrances simply plain don't stick to the skin after a shower or bath, a lot of them are gone as soon every bit you're done bathing. I can but name a handful of mine, off the top of my head, that I can all the same scent on my pare afterwards I dry off, so it's not that yous're doing anything wrong, imo. If they really want to accept the scent stick with them through the mean solar day, perhaps they tin can endeavour a scented lotion, or maybe a spray or roll on with the same fragrance oil.

I think patchouli EO is nearly the only scent that sticks effectually for me.
It annoys me too but....
U know what they say.......it is a wash off product!!

How much scent are you using PPO?

I've made a Hugo Boss scented soap and the odor stays on my BF for almost 6 hours afterwards using it. I think I used one.8 oz for a 3 lb batch. Didn't like the aroma in the bottle considering its a very potent olfactory property only the soap smells wonderful.

You definitely don't want to get overboard with the fragrance oils, your supplier should be able to provide the safety usage limits for their fragrances.

Lather is for enjoyment while using, if they desire scent on their skin so maybe you could brand matching lotions and torso sprays as well. Sell them equally kits

I don't know nigh ideal amount since people's preferences vary, just for your size batch I would have used four.9 ozs.

I'm starting to think that fragrance oils are a complete waste of money as they disappear so quickly. I've gone upwards every bit high as 5% with some. I'grand going to only use the ones that hang around in future.

I've read on this forum that bentonite clay helps. I know an engineer who uses it for ground h2o direction and he thinks information technology makes sense that information technology would work.

Yes, clay does help. I'k only trying to figure out if sodium lactate makes the scent diminish.
Sweetcakes "Clean" is really stiff and seems to stick actually well, no matter what.
I besides used a Violet olfactory property that was overpowering to start with but has toned down and smells just like violets and I recall it lingers on the peel a bit. That'south from our Big Tree Soap Supplies in Commonwealth of australia so I don't know what the American equivalent is.
I retrieve I take improve luck with essential oils.
